Farnbacher Loles Racing will continue its strong association with Porsche in 2009. The team will again field a host of Porsche race cars in the American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and Patron GT3 Cup Challenge.

Farnbacher Loles will be a Porsche factory partner in the American Le Mans Series GT2 class, with Porsche factory driver Wolf Henzler of Nurtingen, Germany, sharing a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with Dirk Werner of Kissenbruck, Germany. Werner finished a close second in the 2008 Porsche Cup rankings, based on his race results in both Europe and North America.

Henzler will also join Farnbacher Loles for the season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona in January, where the team will support six GT-class Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. The initial lineup includes drivers from nine countries and five continents.

Henzler and Richard Westbrook of London, England, will do double duty in the 24-hour race. They are both slated to drive the No. 87 Porsche with Werner and Leh Keen of Charleston, S.C. Henzler will also drive the No. 85 Children's Tumor Foundation Porsche with Michael Gomez of Madison, Ala., Daniel Graeff of Miami and Ron Yarab Jr. of Poland, Ohio. Westbrook will also team with Steve Johnson of Bristol, Va., Dave Lacey of Toronto (born in Durban, South Africa) and Robert Nearn of London, England, in the No. 88 Porsche.

Asia, Europe and the United States will be represented in the No. 86 Porsche, with drivers Dominik Farnbacher of Ansbach, Germany; Eric Lux of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Matthew Marsh of Hong Kong. The team's No. 89 Porsche will be driven by Giacomo Petrobelli of Padona, Italy; Robert Renauer of Jedenhofen, Germany; Giacomo Ricci of Baveno, Italy; Gabrio Rosa of Bergamo, Italy; and Allan Simonsen of Melbourne, Australia (born in Odense, Denmark).

Farnbacher Loles will also support the No. 64 JLowe Racing Porsche for drivers Jim Lowe of Bryn Mawr, Pa.; Jim Pace of Ridgeland, Miss.; Tim Sugden of Leeds, England; and Johannes van Overbeek of San Francisco.
