2003 INFINEON WIN VOTED DYSON'S BEST SERIES MOMENT

Dyson Racing's historic triumph at Infineon Raceway in 2003 is the team's greatest moment in the American Le Mans Series, according to fans. Last week's poll saw the first overall victory by an LMP675 entry out-tally the team's 1-2 finish at Mid-Ohio and an overall victory at Mosport - both in 2005 - in voting at americanlemans.com.

James Weaver and Butch Leitzinger won the July 27, 2003 race by 3.078 seconds over the Infineon Team Joest Audi R8 of Frank Biela and Marco Werner. Leitzinger scored the overall pole position and Weaver turned in the fastest race lap.

Appropriately, both Leitzinger and Weaver were at Lime Rock Park over the weekend for the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix to help celebrate Dyson Racing's 25 years of professional competition. Leitzinger drove one of Dyson's Porsche RS Spyders to a sixth-place LMP2 finish after being hit late in the race by Penske Racing's Sascha Maassen while running in podium position.

Weaver flew from England to commemorate the weekend with his former team, with whom he drove for 20 years.
