Jan Magnussen to compete on two continents in less than 24 hours

Danish driver Jan Magnussen is on a mission this weekend. In less than 24 hours the former Formula 1 driver will compete in two racing series on two continents.

On saturday Jan Magnussen will be driving the #4 Corvette C6.R trying to win at Petit Le Mans together with Olivier Beretta and Oliver Gavin. Immediately after the race, Jan Magnussen will step aboard a private jet, because less than 12 hours after the finish of Petit Le Mans, he will have to be in Denmark where he will be competing in the final round of the Danish Touring Car Championship for Team Den Blaa Avis. Jan Magnussen leads the championship with two point before the final round, but has a difficult task on his hands, as he has to start the prefinale in last place because he will have to miss todays DTC qualifying.

"It is all very James Bond but I look forward to the experience. My main priority is to win Petit Le Mans for Corvette, but off course I will do my best to try to win the Danish Touring Car Championship even though it looks difficult, because I will have to start from the back" says Jan Magnussen.
