Sebring 12 Hours


Sebring, FL March 19, 2011 - CORE autosport announced today that their cars qualified 2nd and 3rd in the LMPC class for today's 59th running of the historic 12 Hours of Sebring. The Bayshore Recycling/Composite Resources car #005, driven by Jon Bennett, Ryan Dalziel and Frankie Montecalvo took second place on the grid, missing pole position by less than two tenths of a second. The Excel Consutlants/Composite Resources car #006, driven by Gunnar Jeannette, Ricardo Gonzalez and Rudy Junco will start in the third position for the LMPC class.

"Considering this is our first race as a new team to the American Le Mans Series, we have to be proud of what we've accomplished", said Morgan Brady, CORE autosport's Team Manager. "Our objective was to run all the practices without major incident and we have", said Brady. "We know this is a long race and anything can happen." "Our goal was to start the race knowing that our cars were in good shape and thanks to our drivers, they are".
