Scott Bradley Added To Sebring Lineup.
Cape Coral, FL (March 5, 2004) - For M3 Motorsports' Alex Graas, promoting talented young drivers has been a life-long ambition. Alex has been representing Jason Workman, both in America and throughout Europe for the past eight years. As the name states, Jon Lewis' American Spirit Racing has been promoting the spirit and talent of American drivers for over 16 years.
The bright red #11 ASR / Lola will be piloted by three of the brightest young stars in North American motorsports: Jason Workman (26), Bobby Sak (25) and Scott Bradley (27).
"M3 Motorsports and American Spirit Racing are working very hard with this team of talented and experienced young race drivers for the upcoming Sebring event," says Graas. "We have very strong talent here in America and we are proud to showcase them. The number 11 entry will do more than just surprise a few people."
"The LMP2 class is shaping up to be one of the most hotly contested divisions in the American Le Mans Series," added Lewis. "LMP2 is going to capture the attention of fans looking for some very close competition. Jason, Bobby and Scott are going to be a formidable driver lineup. With Tony Dowe leading our crew, we have the makings of a truly Championship caliber team. In my 16 years as a team owner, I have never been as excited or optimistic as I am this year!"
"I am extremely excited to be joining M3 Motorsports and American Spirit Racing for the Mobil 1 Twelve hours of Sebring," exclaimed Scott Bradley. "Having strong teammates like Jason and Bobby as well as having Tony Dowe as our engineer, you couldn't ask for a better group of people! When you combine that with the work ethic of the guys at American Spirit Racing, I think we have an excellent shot at the LMP2 crown. I can't thank Alex Graas and Jon Lewis enough for giving me this opportunity."
American Spirit Racing finished a recent test at Sebring with some terrific results. "Jason, Bobby and Ian James (who will pilot the #10 American Spirit Racing entry with John Macaluso) turned some impressive times before a rain storm cut the three day test short. The Pirelli tires were simply fantastic," Lewis continued. "I am extremely impressed with the performance and consistency of both the Pirelli tires and our drivers."
American Spirit Racing will take to the track at the season opening, 52nd Annual Mobil 1, Twelve hours of Sebring on March 20th.
