BRASELTON, Ga. (February 18, 2002) -- Brembo, a global supplier of rotors and other brake system components, has been named the "Official Brake of the American Le Mans Series," officials of Brembo and the series have announced.

Brembo brake systems are used by many of the teams that compete in the American Le Mans Series, a series of sports car endurance races in North America that is patterned after the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. As part of the new relationship, Brembo will feature its affiliation with the American Le Mans Series in its advertising and promotions.
