Back in 2000, the Viper GTS-R was the best sports car in the world. Last year in August, the Viper made its in return to the sportscar stage at the ALMS race in Mid-Ohio and now they are making their return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

SRT Motorsports will field two SRT Viper GTS-Rs in Saturday’s Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, the season-opening event on the 2013 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron schedule.
The two SRT Viper GTS-Rs competed in four ALMS races in 2012.
Ryan Dalziel joins Tommy Kendall, Marc Goossens, Kuno Wittmer, Dominik Farnbacher and Jonathan Bomarito in the SRT Viper GTS-Rs for 2013 ALMS enduros and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The invitation was extended by the ACO to field two SRT Viper GTS-Rs in the LM GTE Pro Class at the 90th anniversary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Drivers include Tommy Kendall, Marc Goossens, Kuno Wittmer, Dominik Farnbacher and Jonathan Bomarito.
