Sebring, Fla, (Mar. 16, 2012),Alex Job Racing's (AJR) Leh Keen qualified the No. 022 WeatherTech/Alex Job Racing Porsche GT3 Cup entry in third in GTC for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring fueled by Fresh from Florida to be run, tomorrow, Mar. 17. Keen is joined in the 022 by Cooper MacNeil and Louis-Philipe Dumoulin.

Keen (Charleston, South Carolina) had the controls of the No. 022 WeatherTech Porsche for qualifying around the 3.74-mile, 17-turn track located in central Florida. Keen, who is amongst the fastest drivers in the GTC class turned a lap time of 2:06.711 good for a second-row start on the GTC grid.

"It was a good qualifying run," Keen said. "We have had a great car all week. We spent most of the week getting settled in with the traffic. Qualifying was the first time that we actually could run a traffic-free lap, which is nice. The WeatherTech Porsche is good. We qualified third, but we are 100ths of a second behind first. The top three cars are really tight. We ran the car this morning on worn tires, and it was fast. So we have a car that will be good through the entire run. We are ready to go racing."

MacNeil (Hinsdale, Illinois) is running his first Sebring 12-hours. Although a rookie in the 12, MacNeil has plenty of laps around Sebring.

"This morning I put in some fast laps, getting a good feel for the traffic," MacNeil said. "The car felt really fast, the best that I have driven so far. Leh did a good job qualifying the car and we are starting on the second row. Daytona was a sprint race from the beginning. Sebring is all about surviving. If we can keep our nose clean, we will be there at the end."

Dumoulin (Quebec, Canada) is enjoying the Sebring experience and is ready to contribute behind the wheel.

"So far we are having a very good week in the 022 WeatherTech Porsche," Dumoulin said. "It is a big learning week on my end. The ALMS series is very different for me from my NASCAR car and the Rolex racing I have done. We don't have five different classes in the series. It is a little overwhelming at times, but very fun. The team is doing a great job. Leh and Cooper are fast. We have led a few of the sessions this week, so we are fast. We have a good starting position for the 60th anniversary running of the Sebring."

Alex Job, team owner, likes the approach the 022 WeatherTech drivers are taking.

"The guys have really come together," Job said. "Leh has won here with us in 2010 and is one of the fastest drivers around here in a Porsche. He is helping Louis-Philippe and Cooper with the subtleties of Sebring that equate to tenths of a second on lap times. They are taking a professional approach studying data and getting to know the characteristics of the other 62 cars in the field. We are looking to have a very strong run from the 022 tomorrow."
