This Year It is Okay To Get a Lot When You Give a Little

It is the time of year that our thoughts all turn towards others, or they should. But, if we're honest, how many of us don't shake the present with our name on it wondering what is inside or wake on Christmas morning with a split second question of what Santa left for us under the tree?
Holroyd of Batley, Great Britain, has created a special, limited edition print commemorating the success of Petersen/ White Lightning in 2005 in the ALMS and at Le Mans.
A run of just 100 prints of the piece, "Team Work", will be offered to the public with all profits from the sale going directly to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army is the charity partner of Petersen/ White Lightning and the Official Charity of the ALMS through its "Grid Kids" program. The print depicts, in full-color, '05 ALMS Drivers Champion Patrick Long - who co-drove to the title with Jorg Bergmeister (Langenfeld, Germany) - behind the wheel of the Team and IMSA Cup Championship winning No. 31 Westward Ho Casino/ MMPIE/ PAWS/ Michelin Porsche 911 GT3 RSR at the Petit Le Mans.
Below that primary landscaped image are two black and white pencil portraits; team owner Michael Petersen (Las Vegas), team manager Dale White (Bozeman, Mt.), Long (Las Vegas) and Bergmeister on the podium in one corner while the Petersen/ White Lightning team lines-up on the Laguna Seca grid on the other.
Only 100 of you will have a chance to get this print by the holidays so pick it up for the Porsche fan in your family or for yourself. Either way, you have done something very generous.
