What a spectacular weekend! There are to few words to describe the atmosphere that the Dutch fans created for our team. Air-horns, smoke bombs, Dutch flags, team shirts, 100,000 people and orange everywhere! There isn't anything that moves you more than being a part of something that big. The atmosphere reminded me of the Indy 500 only at this race everyone was rooting for our home team.

My weekend was a blast, even though not racing and being at the track is always hard it was good to do some demonstration laps in our back-up car and give the fans a good show. I did a demonstration run on Saturday in cold wet conditions and then again on Sunday morning with a dry track. Saturday was a great experience because I was able to feel the car out in the rain and that may prove important if the conditions are similar at Brno. Sunday the track was dry and I was allowed 3 flying laps in front of the Dutch crowd. With new tires and people going crazy it was a great feeling to drive again on the Zandvoort track. Pushing the car through the last corner and coming on to the front straight appropriately named the "Arie Luyendyk Corner" it was hard to come into the pits, I wanted more!

The Sprint race went great for the team, Jeroen climbed from 5th to 3rd place to start the year off with a podium finish! The Dutch fans went absolutely nuts and it was a great moment. The feature was hard fought race and the team did great on the pit-stops and Jeroen climbed up to 8th after falling to 16th on the opening lap. In the end it was a good start to the year and now we are currently 6th in the World Championship.

I want to thank all of my guests that came out and supported our team. It was so much fun to get everyone together at a great event such as this. I'm very happy so many people could make out to Zandvoort to watch my demo runs and watch the team score a podium finish to start off a great year.

Thank You!
