A1 TEAM MONACO ATTENDS MOTORSPORT BUSINESS FORUM
Monaco, 15 December 2008: The main hall of the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco played host once again to the annual Motorsport Forum last week (10/11 December 2008). At its home in the Principality, A1 Team Monaco was proud to take part and exhibit its A1GP Powered by Ferrari car with key members of the squad available throughout the event to present the Team to international visitors.
"The Business of Success" was the event slogan and during its two-day run the Forum brought together a host of motorsport's most influential decision makers. Teams, drivers, sponsors, organisers, promoters and circuit owners gathered at the event's conferences and exhibition to explore networking opportunities and discuss new partnership deals under the seal of competitiveness, productivity and profitability.
"Our goal is to represent the Principality of Monaco at the highest global level," commented Clivio Piccione, Driver and Seat-Holder of A1 Team Monaco (in collaboration with businessman Hubertus Bahlsen). "Our presence at the Motorsport Business Forum has not only been to educate attendees about the young Monegasque A1GP Team, but to also enable us to forge links with new partners. On our stand we featured a replica of our race car and entertained many visitors including business professionals and journalists, eager to know a little more about A1 Team Monaco and the discipline that is A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. On the whole our participation at this event has been positive for the whole team."
Speaking at the Motorsport Business Forum, Pete Da Silva, C.E.O. of the A1GP Series, praised the efforts made by the new team. "I commend the work of A1 Team Monaco. Our series, whose concept of competing between nations is booming, is proud to count among its ranks a team wearing the colours of the Principality of Monaco and whose key members have participated here at the Motorsport Business Forum."
A1 Team Monaco was represented over the two days of the Forum by its key ambassadors; Clivio Piccione, Hubertus Bahlsen and Graham Taylor (Team Principal). A1 Team Monaco was proud to host many visitors on its stand and answer numerous enquiries, whether they be sporting, technical or commercial.
