Carroll completes Snetterton test as O'Hara heads to Holland for Team Ireland

Dublin, Friday 17th August 2007; Adam Carroll successfully completed his 2 day rookie evaluation with A1 Team Ireland at Snetterton circuit, UK, this week, coping with mixed track conditions during his first ever run in a 550bhp A1GP car. The Portadown driver was pleased with the outcome, reporting that the car was well balanced and very satisfying to drive.

Team Ireland is now preparing for the official A1GP test at Silverstone on August 28/29 and the driver line-up for that outing will be confirmed in one week's time.

In the meantime Team Ireland's official test and reserve driver from the 2006/07 World Cup of Motorsport, Kildare's John O'Hara, will return to the cockpit this Sunday for the Rotterdam Motorsport Festival. O'Hara will demonstrate the Team Ireland car alongside the Team Netherlands entry from A1GP, plus Formula One cars from Spyker and Renault.

With the first race of season three taking place at Zandvoort on September 30th the event will give fans the chance to preview some A1GP action, as the Dutch and Irish cars tear round the streets of the spectacular port city. As well as boasting an A-Z of Dutch racing stars in attendance, Ireland's own Eddie Jordan will be hosting the after-party on Sunday night.
