30th March 2006 Shanghai International Circuit, China Round 11, A1 Grand Prix of Nations =Following one of his best A1 Grand Prix performances in the USA two weeks ago, when he worked his way through the field to finish 11th in the Feature Race, Adam Khan driving for A1 Team Pakistan is set to take to the track for the final event of the season in China.

The Shanghai International Circuit, 30km north-west of the city centre, is one of the most modern facilities in the motor racing world. Plenty of overtaking is promised given the wide circuit and one of the most popular sections is the 200mph/320kph straight leading into a wide hairpin. The 5.451km circuit runs clockwise and consists of seven left and seven right turns.

Having driven well in his last event Adam is hopeful of scoring points this time out and having a good conclusion to the season. He's also fired with enthusiasm for the circuit and determined to succeed. Adam Khan "I'm going for a win! I just love the look of the circuit. I saw the Formula 1 here last year which was quite a momentous occasion and I like the F1 style wide circuits. I go well on them – and the configuration and long fast corners here look great. I'm enjoying the event already and am very optimistic. The preparations have been going well so I'm looking forward to getting out on track and China is a second home to me so I'm very comfortable off track too."
