CHENG CONG FU AT THE A1 GP HOME RACE IN SHANGHAI

After a brilliant debut during the first part of the season, Cheng Cong Fu has been called back to represent China again in the most important race for A1 Team China. He will have the opportunity to impress in front of his home fan and represent China for the whole world to see. The much anticipated race will be held on April 15th at the Shanghai International Circuit. The young Chinese racing ace has always been on top from, especially during his time at A1. Consistently impressing at every event, he would always out qualify more experienced drivers and also achieved a fourth place finish in the sprint race in Brno - best result gained by real Chinese driver in A1 GP.

Cheng Cong Fu has also recently impressed everyone during his winter testing in the British Formula 3 series. This has given him the confidence he needs to perform well at the A1 Shanghai race. A great opportunity for the Chinese nationality driver to race in front of his countrymen which in itself is an amazing accomplishment for Chinese Motor sports.

"I born and grew up in China, It's a great to perform in front of my people, the home race will give me more motivation, representing China in China is the biggest responsibility but I feel confident to do a good job. I'm doing very well at the moment in the F3 UK series, leading all the official tests in the National Class. I have learnt and trained a lot in the last period to be ready for the start of the European racing season.

Even if it's my home race, Shanghai is a new circuit for me; I should learn the track layout pretty quickly. The support of the Chinese fans will also help me to do well.

I have excellent memories of the A1 experience and I'm proud to have scored points for my team and country. A1 GP in Shanghai is an important event for the entire country but I feel ready for it.

I would like to thanks A1 Team China giving me this opportunity and trusting my ability to make my country proud.".

Frankie will join team A1 China for the last two events in Shanghai and Brands Hatch.
