Hand injury for Beschir in Malaysia

The A1GP race last week end in Sepang (Malaysia) saw that A1 Team Lebanon was not able to fight for strong positions in the feature race after a early retirment in the sprint race because of mechanical problems. We, officially knew that the Lebanese driver Khalil Beschir was injured and drove the full race with an injured hand without giving up.

The reports say that Beschir was caught in Portugal and China's collision on the 1st lap of the feature race;being hit by the chinese car, which jerked the steering wheel and Beschir tore a ligament in his left arm when this happened. He drove the rest of the race with an extremly painful hand, and wasn't able to push and that was turned on his race performance, but he managed to finish all the 30 laps in the 17th position out of 24 cars on the grid.

We dont know yet if the driver will be fit for the next race in dubai but if he is not team Lebanon has another strong driver who can take part in the race Basil Shaaban.
