A1 Grand Prix Team USA leading again at the Paul Ricard HTTT Second test day
For the second consecutive test day, A1GP Team USA set the best lap time ahead of A1GP Team France, A1GP Team Brazil and A1GP New Zealand.
The 20 nations made today as much as 1 500 more kilometres as yesterday on 2Dsc track solution, completing over 6 500km, under ideal weather conditions, without wind and with great South of France Provence sunshine. The nine first teams set a time in the same second, which is a true evolution compared to yesterday's time sheet. Also, for the very first time, A1GP teams realised a perfect rolling start with 16 teams.
A test session being the right place to validate information, A1GP management has asked the Paul Ricard HTTT extraction team to validate the extraction seat of the new A1GP car, which once again was very successful. Just one month before the start of the season A1GP teams proves to have done the right thing to be ready!
While yesterday's former Formula One World Champions were still in the paddocks today, the Paul Ricard HTTT and A1GP management also welcomed today some VIPs such as Domingo PIEDADE and Willy WEBER who came to announce officially the entry of A1 GP Team Germany.
Tomorrow will be last test day for A1GP Teams at the Paul Ricard HTTT with the same program on 2Dsc track solution from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
