FAIRUZ WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE FOR MALAYSIA A1 TEAM

Due to tight commitments with F1 Spyker Team and World Series by Renault Championships, Malaysia F1 Spyker Team test driver Fairuz Fauzy will not be able to drive for Malaysia A1 Team for coming 2008 season. Hence, he also will not be participating the test day which will be held in Silverstone on the 28th and 29th August 2007.

"Because of the commitments with F1 Spyker Team and my tight schedule with World Series by Renault, I am not able to commit myself to another championship. I am now concentrating fully on the F1 Spyker test drive and development for this season and also my commitment on World Series by Renault. I believe Malaysia A1 Team will give their best peformance and bring the nation a glorious success. Hopefully the team will open opportunity to young drivers like Nik Iruwan and Aaron Lim, who are ready and have vast experienced in single seater, so it will enable them to develop and gain experience to be at the next level of single seater racing."
